Command Sergeant Major Chen Nachmias
was killed in action. He was 42 years old and served in the Yamam unit for 11 years.
He was an operator in a mechanized motorcycle team and as a sniper. Chen was a Zionist through and through; the most outstanding value in him was his dedication to the mission, the protection of the homeland and the people of Israel, and his endless optimism. Chen loved animals and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian.
He was KIA on October 7, 2023, while fighting in the battles at the Big Complex in the city of Sderot.
He was buried in the military section of the cemetery in Even Yehuda. He left behind a wife, four children, parents, and siblings.
